Our Managing Director, Rajendra Prasad Sapkota, is a highly acclaimed professional in the tourism fraternity. Better known to his friends and clients by his nickname Raj, he worked his way up to this position, having started his career as a porter. He has trekked through all popular trekking routes several times while as a guide. So, he knows the mountain; its steep slopes, passes, and ridges well. Or shall we say the mountains know him well! His experience and knowledge will certainly be a big asset when it comes to finding the most appropriate trekking route to suit your timing, budget, health condition etc.

The moment you meet another of our full time staff at Outdoor Himalayan Treks, you interact with a sober-faced person, absolutely serious with his work and serious with his demeanor as well. Wait another moment, and you find that loads of humor is hidden beneath that sobriety. And so you get Badri Aryal as a serious looking man of humor, who amuses and entertains you a lot. Badri is the Administrative Head, supervising all major operations as well as the finances.

Do not be fooled by his officer-like looks, for he happens to come from an entirely different background. He used to be one of the busiest trekking guide, who later on graduated as a professional tour guide. He is currently pursuing his Master's Degree, despite his busy work schedule.

Badri is employed in versatile role and has been working with Outdoor Himalayan Treks ever since its establishment. He has workable knowledge of French, Italian and German languages besides possessing good fluency in English. He has extensively dealt with travelers from a variety of nations and cultures during his work, so you put all your concerns as soon as you meet him. Then rest with perfect confidence, as he is there to co-ordinate with his colleagues and help you meet your individual needs, putting into rest all your concern!

Ram Mani Rijal (or simply Ram), the Administrative Officer at Outdoor Himalayan Treks, is a charming young man in his mid-twenties. His mature handling of responsibilities and his deep experience of the field he works in are atypical of someone in his age. Rather, what is typical of him is his youthful vigor and dynamism, which he exhibits in his swift and deft handling of his work. He is in a versatile role in the office. He speaks English fluently.

Having previously worked as a porter and a trekking guide, Ram Mani is a self-made man. He knows about the major trekking regions of Nepal, namely, Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, very well. He is with Outdoor ever since the company’s establishment. A hardworking, sincere, committed person, you may fall in love with his pleasant smile from the time you meet him. And if you indeed fall, put aside all your worries and anxieties about your Nepal stay since he is there to do all he can to make your Nepal tour a memorable one of your life!

Jeevan Shrestha, the Administrative Assistant, is always eager to undertake any task assigned to him. He is from a village in Gorkha, who came to Kathmandu to make a living. He has been a member of the Outdoor Himalayan Treks workforce ever since its establishment.

Nara Bahadur Bohara, or simply Nara, is an experienced trekking guide who has been working with us for over 4 years. very nice person. He is from Jyamrung, a remote village in Dhading District.

Nara joined Outdoor Himalayan Treks in 1996, initially as a porter. After two years, he started working as a guide-cum-porter. Another three years passed and he finally acquired his license as a Trekking Guide.

His ability of understanding the feelings of clients, solving almost any issues arisen during his undertaken treks, sharing as much of his local knowledge with his trekkers, and efficient handling of his crew, including porters, are some of the reasons why Nara is one of the most sought-after trekking guides onboard our crew.
